Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Liporia ("we", "us", "our") handles your personal information when you visit our online store, place an order, or contact us. Our store, including all content, tools, products and services (together, the "Services"), runs on the Shopify platform. Where this policy and our Terms of Service conflict regarding personal information, this policy applies.

By using our Services, you confirm that you have read and understood how we collect, use and share your information as described below.

1. What information we collect
"Personal information" means any information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Anonymous or de-identified data is not included. Depending on how you use our Services and where you live, we may collect:

  • Contact details – your name, billing and shipping address, phone number and email address.
  • Payment details – card or account numbers, transaction details, payment method and confirmation.
  • Account details – username, password, security questions, preferences and settings.
  • Shopping activity – products you view, add to your cart or wishlist, purchase, return, exchange or cancel, and your order history.
  • Messages – anything you share with us, for example in a customer service request.
  • Device details – your browser, device, network connection, IP address and other identifiers.
  • Usage details – how and when you use and navigate our Services.

We may also draw conclusions from this information where permitted by law.

2. Where we get your information

  • From you – when you create an account, shop with us, or get in touch.
  • Automatically – from your device through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our store.
  • From service providers – who operate technology or process data on our behalf.
  • From partners and other third parties.

3. How we use your information

  • To run and improve our store – processing payments and orders, arranging shipping, handling returns and exchanges, managing your account, sending order and account updates, enabling reviews, remembering your preferences, and recommending products you may like.
  • For marketing – sending promotional messages by email, text or post, and showing you ads on our store and other websites, based on things like your purchases and cart activity.
  • For security – verifying your account, keeping payments secure, and detecting or preventing fraud, illegal or harmful activity. Please keep your login details private and don't share them with anyone.
  • To communicate with you – providing customer support and maintaining our relationship with you.
  • For legal purposes – complying with laws and legal requests (including from authorities), handling disputes or legal proceedings, and enforcing our terms and policies.

4. Who we share your information with
We only share personal information for legitimate reasons, such as with:

  • Shopify and our service providers – for IT, payments, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment and shipping.
  • Marketing and advertising partners – for example, Shopify helps us show personalized ads through third-party services based on your activity across different stores and websites. These partners handle your data under their own privacy policies. Depending on where you live, you may be able to opt out of this kind of targeted advertising.
  • Others at your request – for instance, carriers delivering your order, or when you use social media features or login integrations.
  • Companies within our corporate group.
  • In special situations – such as a merger, acquisition or bankruptcy, to meet legal obligations (like subpoenas or warrants), to enforce our policies, or to protect our Services, our rights and the rights of others.

5. Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information to provide and improve the Services. Information you submit may be shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located outside your country. We also use some enhanced Shopify features that combine data from your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify itself. For those features, Shopify is responsible for processing your data and for handling any requests about your rights. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or via the Shopify Privacy Portal.

6. Links to other websites
Our Services may link to websites or platforms we don't own or control. We're not responsible for their privacy practices, security or content, so please check their policies. Anything you post in public or semi-public spaces, like social media, may be visible to others and used without restriction. Linking to a site doesn't mean we endorse it, unless we say so.

7. Children
Our Services are not meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared information with us, contact us and we'll delete it. As of the date of this policy, we are not aware of selling or sharing personal information of anyone under 16.

8. Security and storage
No security system is perfect, and information sent over the internet may not be fully secure while in transit. Please avoid sharing sensitive information through unsecured channels. We keep your personal information for as long as needed to maintain your account, provide our Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights. They are not absolute, and in some cases we may decline a request where the law allows.

  • Access – ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Deletion – ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Correction – ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Portability – receive a copy of your data or have it transferred to another party.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising – as defined by applicable privacy laws. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we'll treat it as an opt-out request for that browser and device, and for your linked Shopify account where possible. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org. We don't respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.
  • Marketing preferences – you can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in the email. We may still send you messages about your orders or account.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity first, and if you use an authorized agent to act on your behalf, we'll ask for proof of their authorization. We'll respond within the time required by law.

10. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your personal information, please contact us. Depending on where you live, you may be able to appeal our decision or file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. International transfers
Your personal information may be transferred, stored and processed outside your country. When we transfer data out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we use recognized safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or the UK equivalent), unless the destination country is considered to offer adequate protection.

12. Text messages
We don't share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your text message opt-in data and consent are only shared with vendors and aggregators that help us deliver messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. The latest version will always be posted here with an updated date, and we'll notify you where required by law.
